ABOUT US
Virgil's Side of the Story

During the day I pose as a mild manner freight
delivery driver for a major shipping company.  I
won't say who they are, they might not like the
    advertisement on my website.

On many occasions I would see the amount of
waste in discarded pallets and scrap lumber.
The amount of wood sent to land fills that had
so much more life in them.  Someone had to
save these discarded, former trees.  So off I
went to the telephone booth, to change into my
super hero costume, and wouldn't you know it,
they got rid of the phone booth on the corner....

So, off to the nearest gas station to use their
restroom, and "poof"  I became Pallet-Man,
rescuer of  wood related shipping products all
over the Heart of the Bluegrass, and beyond
(echo, echo, echo).  My flight lasted just a short
while, with gas prices so high, what could you
expect.  I had no where to go but back to the
    ground.

A dollar saved here and there makes a
difference.  So the rescue missions will
continues, and with your support and desire to
save money you can also help fight the injustice
to these wood related shipping products. Give
    me a call 859-749-7981
    Judy's Side of the Story

All I wanted was a utility shed in the back yard.
You know what I am talking about.  One of those
building with a window and cute barn like doors, to
store the lawn mower and everything else your
husband owns and thinks is worth keeping.  Virgil
said sure, no problem, I can build you one
cheaper than it would cost to buy it.

So off Virgil goes to building sites to talk to
builders about their scrap lumber and then its off
to other building related product companies to
    discuss their scrap lumber.

Before you know it our back yard looked like a
lumber mill.  I told Virgil enough was enough, we
had enough wood to build a mansion.  Plus the
neighbors were thinking of setting termites loose
on us, not that I could blame them.

So the next step was mini storage...keep in mind,
I still did not have the utility shed, but pricing  for
storage put a damper on the idea.  As if we had so
much invested up to this point, (actually Zilch),
but cost is cost no matter how you look at it.

Virgil decided that he could sell scrap lumber
destined for land fills.  There is a market in the
shipping industry for it as well as a market for
recycled and re-manufactured pallets.  So he
became a great and honorable "Wood Man" and I
still do not have my utility shed.
